  • Dr. David Haviar

    Dr. David Haviar, aka “Doc,” graduated from Purdue University in 1975, and has been practicing since. He opened AHRH originally on Brook St in 1979, then moved the practice to it’s current location in 1984. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and spending time with family and friends.

  • Dr. Kristin Haviar

    Dr. Kristin has been working alongside her father since she was young, assisting in the clinic even before becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Kristin graduated from Purdue University in 2007 and has been practicing ever since. She has a husband, two beautiful daughters, and her Boxer Chase. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends.

  • Dr. DelTosta

    Dr. DelTosta graduated from Saint Joseph College in 2006 with a degree in biology. She spent three years working as a veterinary technician before heading down to Grenada where she earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in 2013.

    When Dr. DelTosta is not in the office, she likes to spend time at home with her husband, watching their children grow up. They current reside with 2 crazy dog fur babies.

  • Clare

    Clare has been working with us at AHRH since March 2010. She is the surgical coordinator and the technician for all the surgical procedures. She has three dogs and two cats, and enjoys making jewelry in her free time.

  • Kevin

    Kevin has been a technician with us for 14 years. He is also our inventory manager and one of our head technicians. He has two dogs, Andy and Emma Marie, and enjoys fishing and hunting in his spare time.

  • Allen

    Allen is one of our technicians who started as a receptionist, and and his love for animals started at a young age. He originally started working in human health care but made the switch to AHRH over 4 years ago. He is a proud cat dad to his two sons, Vision and Doctor Strange.

  • Sam

    Sam is one of our technicians who joined us in October 2023. Sam comes to us with almost 13 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician. Pugs and pit bulls are her joy in life, but she won’t miss a chance to snuggle with any animal. Outside of the clinic, Sam enjoys vacationing at her small lake cottage in Vermont and spending time with her boyfriend Brian and their two dogs Lala and Poppy.

  • Bri

    Bri is one of our receptionists, as well as the New Patient Coordinator and in-house IT liaison, that has been with AHRH for over 4 years. Her favorite part of her job is educating and helping clients as well as their pets. Originally she went to college to study music and Spanish, but quickly changed careers to veterinary medicine. She loves spending time with her two cats, Trout and Minnow (pictured), and enjoys singing and gardening in her free time.

  • Tami

    Tami is one of our receptionists who joined AHRH in September 2022. Her favorite part of the job? “I love seeing all the puppies and kittens come through the office!”. She takes pride in making all our new puppy and kitten bags. In her free time she enjoys relaxing with her kitties Marmalade, Thumbs, Socks and Butters.

  • Amanda

    Amanda is our newest receptionist who joined us in September 2023. She enjoys helping animals and loves seeing our new patients. In her free time, she enjoys snuggling with her kitties at home and watching movies.

  • Shannon

    Shannon is one of our receptionists who has been with us for over 2 years. She transitioned into veterinary medicine looking for opportunities in a different career and has fit right in! Outside the hospital, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

  • Darlene

    After years of working in the insurance industry, Darlene joined our team 16 years ago as a veterinary receptionist. Because of the love she has for animals and her customer service skills, she has never left! She started as a receptionist then became one of the Client Care Coordinators, Head Receptionist and trainer, and is now working part time as the Administrative Assistant. Darlene and her husband are in the process of remodeling their Victorian home that they share with their Golden Retriever, Hannah, and any wildlife that walks on their property. She enjoys collecting antiques and tchotchkes.
